CD cover analysis
The genre that The Script have is indie/pop you cant really tell this from the cover as it doesnt show any of the band members, or how the picture relates to the band. As you can see the title of the cover is The Script have the The underlined, this shows that its simple and staright to the point of the album. I think that the Band isnt on the front of the album cover because they probably just mainly want the focus to be on their music and not them. On the album cover there are a variety of images maybe to show their feelings of the songs on the album, having the bottom half of the ablum cover dark with the chimney smoke coming out and then the huge hand above the chimneys changes colour from light to dark, then the girl standing on the hand is very colourful with a rainbom that follows up to the top of the album cover. This may show that The Script think that everything is better higher up and thats where they want to be. I think that the target market of this album cover would be for teenagers/young adults, this is because that they are an upbeat band and these targets follow the indie/pop genre.

I think that it is easy to tell from this album because the star of the album in on front of the album cover. and how the title of the album is called "good girl gone bad". I think that this title suggests that she has changed since she has become famous, e.g has more confidence in herself with what she does and being famous has changed the way she is and how she acts. The colour of the album cover is mainly dark and then lightens as the picture is focussed on Rihanna. The camera is at a low angle showing that Rihanna is looking down at the camera in a slant pose position showing some attidude to the popstar. The picture of Rihanna is in black and white, I think that this is because so that her name stands out being in the colour blue. The tight fitted dres that Rihanna is wearing shows off her figure well and makes her look sophisticated. I think that the target market for this album is for young teenagers/ adults because that is what her music is mainly targeted to. Also it shows that Rihanna is glamorous so this could mainly focused on the females and to also catch the males attention with what she is wearing.

The title on this album is the name of the band but in an electric blue light saying bonk. The name clearly stands out on the album which must have a reason for it being there. This maybe show what the album is about or if the band spend a lot of time at this place. I think that the target audience for this album is for young teenagers and onwards this is because most of the kooks songs are very popular and because they have huge hit singles most people know them.
